OUR PROGRAMS
Tutoring
After school tutoring is available for students who are having difficulty in Math and English. Assistance is available by appointment or by group session.
Financial Literacy
We offer workshops and classes on how to save money, maintain checking and saving accounts, how to budget and, most importantly, how to manage debit and credit cards.
Academic & Athletics
Parents and students will meet with coaching staffs from Horry and Georgetown Counties to develop college academic tracking plans for athletes, and to become well-versed on information on the NCAA guidelines, regulations and procedures for student-athletes.
ACT and SAT PREP
ACT & SAT workshops prepare students for college entry tests. Gain an understanding of how to handle test anxiety and how to study for the math, reading, and writing portions of the tests.
SUMMER COLLEGE TOURS
Our summer college tour program exposes students to select college and university campuses in the United States. Tours include meetings with college recruitment officers to discuss admissions criteria and campus life.
FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS
Financial aid workshops provide parents and students with assistance to complete the FAFSA application process and other information on how to pay for college. Parents and students learn about scholarship offers and receive valuable info on how to avoid student debt.
Youth Entrepreneurship Program
Youth interested in developing their business ideas receive direction and coaching on the proper steps to organize and manage their businesses. Classes and workshops on a variety of business-related subjects help future business owners understand the commitment of time, energy, and resources to help them be successful.
Youth Mentoring
Youth are more successful in secondary and post secondary settings when they have great mentors to guide them through their childhood and teen years. Mentoring is great preparation for college and career readiness so EOY partners with local organizations to give students the support and encouragement they need to thrive.
